Just take out interupt skills and you'll kill 3 birds with one stone. Annoying interupts, mesmers and rangers.

interrupt bots will be gone sure, but what about the other kinds of bots such as the monk-enhancing bots? only more bots will continue to develop unless something is done or until they get bored (i.e. have moved on to gw2).

True this, I'm starting to notice monk bots that auto-stop on detecting a bull's.

Anet wants you be done with GW so you will move on to GW2 in a year. In the meantime, they'd rather have a crapload of bots playing than empty servers.

In terms of GW2 there looks to be ALOT more variables that are complex for a bot to pick up on going by the elementalist videos.

But godamn.....this isn't doing much good for people and this game hasn't been on steam too long yet.

I am glad Gaile said that and all.. but all I want from Anet is for them to come ON THIS FORUM!! and say:
We appreciate your concerns and we are working on fixing the boting issue we haven't forgotten about GW1 and will not forget about it until GW2 comes out.

or

We appreciate your concerns but we really don't care about guild wars 1 anymore.. we just want to make a few more dollars before GW2. So you just have to deal with the inflated market,farming bots,leeching bots,title bots, RA bots,JQ bots etc. etc. etc.

Shoo, why are you creditting Kuntz for the Server-To-Client packet injection hack? He has nothing to do with it at all. We all know who made this shizzle (obvious eyes, obvious eyes).

You can't demand anything from Anet. This thread won't do anything, and neither will anything you say.

The only thing that communicates a message clearly to large companies is money. Hurt their bottom line and they'll pay attention. If you're dissatisfied with something, don't buy from the in-game store, don't buy the novel when it comes out, and if you're really PO'd tell your friends to stay away from games with the Anet/NCSoft label on them (looking at GW2). That WILL get a response moreso than this little thread.

Thanks mods for keeping this thread open and everyone else for letting Anet know what's going on. I've had a few conversations with TK members, and it appears that this is being pushed by the TK as well. Apparently, very few of the Live Team was aware of these issues.

It's beyond pathetic at this point that they haven't responded.

Kinda reminds me of Modern Warfare 2 and the Dedicated Server fiasco... 254,000 + people signed a petition demanding Dedi-Server support and no one really responded. Then again I think IW is actually going to flatline and disband, or if that was just a few people leaving.. IIRC.

We're trying to fix the game we're playing not right now, not the one that we might be playing in a year's time.

Indeed, but we have to remember that we're asking this from the same people who took what, well over a year (or was it two?) to legitimately nerf shadow form. I think that digging into the profit they're pulling in will work faster than yelling for shadow form to get nerfed at the very least. I only said I was looking at GW2 because we all know that since 2007 GW1 has been the red-haired stepchild for Anet. They don't really care to the same extent they used to. However, they will care if their profits start taking a hit.
